It's a nice place to visit and explore for everyone and take the camera whether it's on your phone or professional cameral set up for some great photos of your own. This is another one of those places that is great to visit at different times of the year as well as at different times of the day as the place and the views can look different each time you visit.
Visit Bradford Industrial Museum
Bradford Industrial Museum, it's been here a long time but often gets overlooked and forgotten about and doesn't seem to get the advertising or visitors that it rightly deserves.
It's basically indoors although you do have to pop out to a couple of external building to see more exhibits so ideal to visit if the weather isn't great but it is also just a great a place to visit when you're not hiding from bad weather too.
Visit The Intriguing 5 Rise Locks and 3 Rise Locks at Bingley
The 5 Rise Locks and the lesser know 3 Rise Locks are a great place to take a stroll whether on your own, with the family or friends or just taking your camera out to get a few great photos.
It's a great outdoor place to visit for everyone including the dog and It's one of those places you can make multiple visits to as the area looks different in the different seasons. Also consider a venture here at sunrise or sunset in winter for a different feel to the place compared to a busy Sunday afternoon on a warm summers day. (The first photo above with great reflections was taken 29th December at sunset)
How to Find Ogden Waters....
Ogden Waters is another hidden away place that often gets passed over unless you're fairly local.
Get Outdoors in the Fresh Air with nice scenery, take a walk around the large Reservoir, venture along the tracks into the large Wooded area around it or explore a Moorland walk high above. This is a great place to take the kids to run off some energy, exercise the dog, and just to get out and about and enjoy the countryside without being miles away from civilization. How to find Goit Stock Waterfall
This hidden little gem of a Waterfall is not miles away in the Yorkshire Dales but here in West Yorkshire, Harden near Bingley, Bradford to be exact.
This magnificent Waterfall (and the woodland area around it), can have a totally different look when you visit at different times of the year in changing light and changing seasons so it's well worth visiting more than once..... |
