Visit Ilkley Moor and The Cow & Calf Rocks....
Stunning Moorland Walks, Panoramic Views above Ilkley, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire...
It's a nice place to visit and explore for everyone and take the camera whether it's on your phone or professional cameral set up for some great photos of your own. This is another one of those places that is great to visit at different times of the year as well as at different times of the day as the place and the views can look different each time you visit.
***FREE UK WIDE DELIVERY ON EVERYTHING***
Once at the parking area there are a number of different pathways and tracks to follow and explore. Follow the pathway straight on and take a wander into the sheltered cavern type area below the moors first, take a walk over to the Cow & Calf Rocks or just follow one of the many pathways up onto the tops and explore the rocky area at the top or venture further onto the moorland. On better weather days people are often climbing the Calf rock which is impressive to see. If you're not up for a walk up to the top, just sit and relax with a cuppa and a piece of cake from the cafe or venture over the road to The Cow & Calf pub/restaurant for something more.
Facilities....
A couple of public benches.
Cafe with covered outdoor seating and Customer Toilets. The Cow & Calf Pub / Restaurant a short walk away. Ilkley Town centre a 5 minute drive down the hill with restaurants, coffee shops, other shops, etc.

How to Get There....
If travelling by public transport try using this website to plan your route>>>
By Car.... Set your SatNav for LS29 8BT Hangingstone Road. If you are coming from Ilkley Town Centre you'll go up Cowpasture Road from the mini roundabout near Tescos and continue to travel straight onwards and up the hill and the Car Park is on the right hand side. If you come from the other direction you'll see The Cow & Calf pub on you right and the car park is just a ligght way after this on your left.
Accesibility....
The car park is tarmac.
There is a paved walk from the car to the bottom of the rocks which does have a step incline. Getting further up to the top and onto the moorland is challenging with a worn dirt footpath.
